Ann M. Wolfe is the Andrea and John C. Deane Family Senior Curator and Deputy Director at the Nevada Museum of Art, in Reno, NV, where she has worked since 2006. She specializes in photography, art and environment, contemporary Indigenous art of the Great Basin, and placing Nevada art and culture within a broader global context. Wolfe stewards the Museum’s Carol Franc Buck Altered Landscape Photography Collection. Past exhibition and publications include: Anne Brigman: A Visionary in Modern Photography (2018: Rizzoli Electa), Tahoe: A Visual History (2015: Skira Rizzoli), Lita Albuquerque: Stellar Axis (Skira Rizzoli, 2014), The Altered Landscape: Photographs of a Changing Environment (2011: Skira Rizzoli), and Suburban Escape: The Art of California Sprawl (2006: Center for American Places).
