Kelly Kivland is chief curator and director of exhibitions at Wexner Center for the Arts, the Ohio State University. Previously, she was curator at Dia Art Foundation (2011-21). At Dia, she realized recent exhibitions and projects with artists including Joan Jonas (2021); Maren Hassinger (2021); Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme’s May amnesia never kiss us on the mouth (2020-22); Carl Craig’s Party/After-Party (2020-21); Joëlle Tuerlinckx (2019), and Nancy Holt (2018-19). In her role at Dia, she oversaw the stewardship of Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty (1970) and Nancy Holt’s Sun Tunnels (1973-76); and curated the Artists on Artists lecture series as well as the Artist Web Projects series. She holds a M.A. from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
