Chad Alligood is a curator and art historian based in Las Vegas, NV. He serves as Board President at Voices in Contemporary Art. Alligood’s previous positions include Chief Curator of American Art at The Huntington and Curator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. He earned a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.A. from the University of Georgia, and completed his Ph.D coursework in art history at the City University of New York. Alligood taught art history at Brooklyn College and is a recipient of a Kress Foundation Fellowship, a Graham Collections Fellowship, and Excellence in Exhibition Honors from American Alliance of Museums.
